When we talk about spiritual journey, we might more focus on the bright side of the spiritual learning such as love, light, service and support. Meanwhile, we have to realize that the truth of universe is duality. When there is light, there must be shadow.
In spiritual journey, we will go through both light and shadow work. We will try to look at all the good side of life, such as love, hope, gratitude, kindness, etc. At the same time, we will need to do our shadow works, that we normally called healing. We need to face our fears, insecurities, greedy, jealousy, guilt, shame, and our self-sabotaging thinking patterns and behaviours.
Those qualities or part of us that we try to deny. Besides, inner child healing helps us to discover those good sides of us that been rejected by our parents, culture or society. Your talents, hobbies, kindness, or creativity that been criticized by others.
The healing process help us to accept every part of us and become whole and complete as our true-self.
In the other hand, our pain, negative emotions or limiting beliefs that been held us back will gradually be released through the healing process. Those feelings that we might unconsciously holding for years such as grief, anger, disappointment, frustration, lost, worry and anxiety, all will be released. Acceptance, forgiveness, unconditional love are the lessons that we learn in our healing journey.
When both of our light and shadow are been seen and embraced by us, we become balance and complete in both mentally and spirituality. We accept every part of us, love ourselves unconditionally.
Courage, clarity and confidence are the best gifts that we received from our healing and spiritual learning journey.
